I’ve been going through a lot, lately, and I know many other people have, too. Missing my kids when they aren’t with me. The house is getting work done on it due to the flood.
I thought I’d share a song that I found the other day listening to Prairie Home Companion. It’s called “Heart of the Heartland,” from Peter Ostroushko’s album Heart of the Heartland (1995) (link).
I also found this duet performance of the same piece between Arkadiy ARKAN Yushin and Peter that I thought was great:
There is much to be read about Peter. Though he’s no longer with us, here is his website (link). He was from Minnesota, and had Ukranian ancestry.
