sitting on a couch on a planet
spinning around itself around a sun
spinning in a solar system in a galaxy
spinning
yet in this Gravitron everything feels still
and I know my mitochondria are boogie-ing
and my protons are proton-ing
and my gut bacteria are doing their thing to keep me alive in a symbiotic weird relationship we feel funny acknowledging happens
and I think
and on top of this, we are many
and on top of this, we interact
we have community
and we only know so little, barely having scratched the surface of science
how in the world do we prescribe what is best for another?
how in the world do we accept judgment of ourselves?
why do we let in things that are stationary absolutes
that ignore the spinning?
because it’s a fucking scary ride? well. yes, it is.
